The application scope of melamine edge banding is basically similar to that of PVC edge banding. However, the edge sealing of fireproof board is the best. Manual and mechanical edge banding are acceptable during operation; The requirements for hot melt adhesive, all-purpose adhesive, white emulsion adhesive and other adhesives are not high; The adhesive can be selected at will in the market by flat pasting and roll pasting; When hot melt adhesive is selected as the adhesive, the control temperature of the melt adhesive is 120 ℃～ 160 ℃, the pressure is 4-6/2, the curing time is 20-50 seconds, and the ambient temperature for indoor pasting is 15 ℃. Since the permeability of melamine edge banding strip to hot melt adhesive and all-purpose adhesive is stronger than that of PVC, the amount of adhesive coating shall be reduced when pasting with the board, which is generally controlled within the range of 6-8g/linear meter. In the mechanical edge sealing, the visual effect is that the adhesive layer is evenly coated and the mesh is clear; The running speed of mechanical gluing is 30~50 m/min, and the running speed of edge bonding is the fastest when all kinds of edge banding strips are used for edge bonding. This can not only ensure the bonding quality, but also improve the working efficiency, which is quite powerful.
